SPORTS FEE

$90 per player

Non-playing officials, such as scorers, umpires and team managers who are not playing or competing, are not required to pay the Sports Fee. They only need to pay the Games Fee and must be registered.

+ GAMES FEE

$85 Early Bird (ends 28 Feb 2027)

$99 Standard (from 1 March 2027)

Minimum age for competition is 35 years for men and 25 years for women.

Age is determined as of 27 June 2027

The competition draw will be finalised and added here after team entries close.

A maximum of ten (10) teams will be accepted into the competition. Team entries close Sunday 30 May 2027.
All teams must have a minimum of 11 registered players.
Each team must nominate a Team Manager, who is required to register the team before any player registrations.
The Team Manager is responsible for registering the team and entering each player's name and email address. Each player will then receive an email invitation to join the team, complete their registration, and pay their fees.
Team Managers can download the Player Registration Details Form to collect the information required from each player
If a player does not receive their invitation email, they should check their spam or junk folder
Players can also register individually and enter their team name during registration. Please ensure the team name is spelt correctly.
Players who do not have a team can register as an individual baseball competitor and enter "I need a team" when prompt to enter a team name. The baseball organiser will allocate players to a team where possible
Each team must provide an accredited umpire.
Each team must also provide a scorer.
If your team’s umpire and/or scorer is not playing in your team, they are classified as a Non-Playing Official and must be registered.
If your team is unable to provide an umpire or scorer, please contact Baseball Cairns Inc to arrange one.
The competition draw will be listed on the Games website once team registrations close.
Mixed teams are permitted; however, the minimum age criteria still apply.
The Baseball competition is presented by Baseball Cairns Incorporated and sanctioned by Baseball Queensland.
The competition will be conducted under the rules of baseball and local tournament bylaws. These can be provided to Team Managers.
